Special Needs Today

Special Needs Today: by parents, for parents.

The site is aimed at:

Parents and carers: helping them support their child from the point of diagnosis with a condition and thereafter all the way through their journey in caring for their child;

Medical professionals: it is not always easy and can be very time consuming for busy medics when faced with a barrage of questions from parents and carers regarding a new diagnosis of a condition. Special Needs Today aims to address that issue by giving access to medical professionals who can download and pass on information to anxious parents

Educators: from special schools to academies this site aims to provide a platform for educational professionals to access information on conditions which can be used both in school and disseminated to parents and carers.

We hope that you find this site useful and if you have any comments – or would like to suggest new content etc. for the site, please contact us!!
