Midland Road Nursery School

Midland Road Nursery School is an Early Years Enhanced Specialist Provision (EYESP) providing care and education from children aged birth to 5 years.  We have capacity for 10 full time or 20 part time places  for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.  Sessions can be arranged every morning or every afternoon.  Alternatively, children can attend for two and a half days.  Some children may be eligible to claim 30 hours.  This means they can attend from Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm.

We provide wrap around care and operate from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

Our specialist places are allocated by the Local Authority.  If you are interested in accessing a place for your child please come and see us anytime and ask for Ginny, Hannah or Saiqa.  We will show you around the school and talk to you about your child's needs.  Our specialist staff are here to help your child reach their full potential, so we spend lots of time getting to know you before your child starts.

Our sensory room provides children with opportunities to make choices and learn about cause and effect.

During Covid-19 we have a range of measures in place to help keep your child safe.  All children are asked to wash their hands at our hand washing stations before entering the classroom and parents are asked to arrive individually and not with other family members, to drop off and collect children.  This will help to prevent the spread of infection.
