Abbey Green Nursery School

Abbey Green Nursery School is an Early Years Enhanced Specialist Provision (EYESP) providing care and education from children aged 2-5 years.  We have capacity for  10 full time or 20 part time places for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.  Sessions can be arranged every morning or afternoon.  Alternatively, children can attend for two and a half days.  Some children may be eligible to claim 30 hours.  This means they can attend from Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm.

Our specialist places are allocated by the Local Authority.  If you are interested in accessing a place for your child please come and see us anytime and ask for Ginny or Hannah.  We will show you around the school and talk to you about your child's needs.  Our specialist staff are here to help your child reach their highest potential, so we spend lots of time getting to know you before your child starts.

During Covid-19 we have a range of measures in place to keep your child safe.  All children are asked to wash their hands at our hand washing stations before they enter the classrooms.  We have a one way system in place for parents to follow when collecting and dropping off children.  We ask that one parent only drops off and collects.  This helps to prevent the spread of infection.

We have a fabulous sensory room and this can be booked for private use, subject to availability.  Please call us on 01274 722070 to request a 30 minute booking.

We offer a range of  free sessions that you can attend with your child.  We have a portage group on Tuesday afternoons and Stay and Play sessions on Friday mornings.  Please call us to book a place.

We look forward to meeting you.
