Parents' Forum for Bradford and Airedale

** Due to coronavirus, the PFBA office will not be open, however our updates on the News page have lots of links to various help pages and resources. If you cannot find what you want or just need to talk to someone for advice and support please email supportnews@pfba.org.uk, leave your telephone number and someone will get back to you within 48 hours.

What does it do?

The Forum works to support parents and carers of children and young people up to 25 years old who have disabilities/additional needs in the Bradford and Airedale district. The Forum works to enable better access to information about services, and to improve channels of communication between services, professionals and parents and carers. They provide opportunities for parents and carers to have a voice in service development and planning. The group has parent representatives on the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Strategic Partnership and on the Children’s Trust Board. It also holds workshops focusing on particular aspects of disability, for example Education, Health and Care Plans.

Who is it for?
Parents and carers with a child who has additional needs in the Bradford district.

How do I access it?
The Parents’ Forum hold open forum meetings and other events during the year. The best way to stay updated is to sign up for membership which is free, by registering your details via www.pfba.org.uk/join-us. They can also be found on Twitter and Facebook links below

PFBA events are open to parents and carers of children and young people up to the age of 25 who have a disability or special educational need, and live in the Bradford council area, or whose child goes to a Bradford school.
