Whizz-Kidz

What does it do?
Whizz-Kidz is a national charity working throughout the UK. Our mission is to transform the lives of disabled children and young people by providing equipment, support and life skills they need, when they need them – giving them the chance to develop their full potential. At Whizz-Kidz we run a wide range of services for young wheelchair users, completely free of charge. This includes; youth clubs, young leader programme, wheelchair skills training, camps and work-placements... Whizz-Kidz also provides a range of mobility equipment to children and young people with a physical disability to give them independence at home, at school and at play. This also includes sports wheelchairs. If your local NHS Wheelchair Service does not provide equipment to meet the mobility needs of your child then we may able to help. Would you like to gain new skills? Join in the fun at your local youth club! Our FREE youth club, for young wheelchair users aged 8-25, meets in Leeds once a month. We run a wide range of activities from music, drama and art, to sport, cooking, campaigning and trips. The club dates for 2017 are; •    Saturday 30th September •    Saturday 28th October •    Saturday 25th November •    Saturday 9th December You need to register with Whizz-Kidz 4 weeks before the next club to attend.

Who is it for?
Whizz-Kidz services are FREE for young wheelchair users aged 2-25 across England.
