What does it do?
The department provides a 24/7 face to face and telephone Interpreting Service for Airedale NHS Foundation Trust patients and staff within the hospital and the community covering clinics, wards and all appointments. It also translates reports, letters and leaflets as required. A core team within the hospital covers languages such as Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali, Slovakian, Polish, Ukrainian and Russian and many more languages are provided through a register of Bank Interpreters.
