BDCFT Podiatry Service

What does it do?

The Podiatry service offers support and advice for those with conditions that affect the lower limb and feet, including children and young people who have problems with walking.

We work with people who have reduced circulation and sensation in their feet, require wound management, foot and gait assessments, Diabetic foot assessments and nail surgery for the removal of ingrowing toenails.

Who is it for?

Children, young people and adults needing podiatry support. The service operates from clinical sites throughout Bradford and Airedale. Children and young people can only be referred by their doctor or other health care workers with their consent. We do not offer a nail cutting service.

How can you access this service?

For any Podiatry Service access the person would need to be referred through their GP or other NHS providers. Children and young people can only be referred by their doctor or other health care workers with their consent.
