Bradford Continence Service

What does it do?
•    The service offers support to young children and young people in their daily bowel and bladder management . •    Continence clinics for children/young people with complex bladder and bowel problems at various locations within the Bradford & Airedale District, in schools or at home if felt appropriate. Joint work is undertaken with a variety of health and social care professionals. •    Education and training for all health and social care staff who support children / young people with continence care. •    Resource and information on all continence related issues •    Management of the delivery of products to client’s homes.

Who is it for?
•    Any child/ young person (0-19 years) still in education. •    Children with a Bradford and Airedale G.P. with exclusions in Airedale

By referral from your Consultant, G.P., Health Visitor, Social Worker, School Nurse, Nurse Specialists and other professionals
