Specialist Colleges

Our specialist residential colleges offer flexible education, care and enablement for young adults aged 18 to 25, all of whom have complex needs including behaviour that may challenge and a learning disability, often in association with autism.

Established in 1975, Hesley Group is a South Yorkshire-based, specialist independent provider, offering care, education and vocational opportunities for children, young people and adults all of whom have complex needs including behaviour that may challenge and a learning disability, often in association with autism. Our mission is to help people achieve their full potential. We want those we support to really enjoy their time with us and to move through services positively in a way which best matches their individual needs. Experienced and expert, multidisciplinary care, support, education, therapeutic and clinical staff work in cohesive teams to facilitate progress.

The Group has two specialist schools and two small specialist colleges, as well as a range of residential services. Provision is based on the values of person-centeredness, quality, positive outcomes, with an emphasis on keeping people safe, as well as on staff training and support. We seek to work positively with all partners, including people who use our services, parents, families, carers and professional agencies, so we can do our very best with and for the people we collectively support.
