Brain in Hand

Brain in Hand is a professional digital support system designed to help people manage anxiety and increase independence. This might include people who are neurodiverse or who have a mental health difficulty, particularly where anxiety is a factor. Our system gives people access to their best coping strategies when they need them, which can make all the difference in preventing panic or avoidant behaviour; with self-management tools and remote support, Brain in Hand users can develop their confidence to live more independently, thrive in education or in work, or reduce their dependence on support services.

We are not diagnosis-specific: we help people to think about their strengths, goals, and difficulties and then empower them to use our technology to overcome problems and achieve new things.

Brain in Hand can be funded via private purchase or a number of funding streams including personal budgets/benefit payments, Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), the Disabled Students' Allowance, Access to Work, and so on. It can also be purchased by organisations for people they support.

If you think that you might benefit from Brain in Hand, a good first step is to talk to anyone who's supporting you - this could be staff in your school or at your workplace, or someone within local social care. They may be able to help you work out whether there are sources of funding available to you. You can also get in touch at info@braininhand.co.uk to learn more.
