Bradford Children’s Occupational Therapy

We work with children who have difficulties with functional activities of daily living, and their families. We assess what they can do and what is difficult for them and provide practical support/advice to help them achieve the goals that are important to them.

Who is it for?

We see babies, children and young people from the age of 0 up to 19 (if they are still in full time education) with functional difficulties.

We see children with a range of conditions, including:
•    Physical disabilities and difficulties with a range of causes, such as cerebral palsy, Neuromuscular conditions, and juvenile arthritis
•    Motor co-ordination difficulties like Developmental Coordination Disorder (Dyspraxia)
•    Developmental delay / developmental impairment
•    We see children in a variety of settings including nurseries, children’s’ centres, mainstream schools, special schools and in the home. We may see children in other locations according to need.

How do I access it?
Referrals are made to our service by GP’s or Consultants.
