Special Inclusion Project - Summer Day Trips 2021

15 Jul 2021,

The Specialist Inclusion Project is working on a Summer 2021 Programme this year. This is for young people aged 8-18 years with a diagnosed disability. We are an Early Help Service supporting young people that do not have a package of care by social care/ or a social worker. For more information on SIP please see: Specialist Inclusion Project | Bradford Council

This Summer, we have limited spaces on the following:

Day Trips – we are teaming up with Ingleborough Hall to have some day trips locally; young people will enjoy Haworth, rock climbing, waterfall walks and parks across the district; these are running three days per week for four weeks. We have arranged a central meeting point and provide transport to the Bradford/ North Yorkshire district locations, with parents picking up and dropping off from one place.

Pineapples Summer Camp -  We have minimal spaces on Pineapples Summer Camp – a five-day residential run from Ingleborough Hall. Young people join us Monday and go home Friday. It is run as an American style camp, with daily activities and evening activities, house teams, and lots of water, messy, fire and adventure play. We are running two separate weeks this year, and it is always very popular, so spaces go very quickly!

Please note we anticipate we will fill these spaces quickly as we always do this time of year: Therefore if you are interested please contact the team on Specialist.Inclusion.Project@bradford.gov.uk for further information.
