Project Search Recruitment Open Day 15th December 2022

31 Oct 2022,

Project Search Bradford are holding a recruitment day on 15th December at MacMillan Towers.

The day is for interested young people, carers and families to find out more about Project Search and hopefully sign up for a place in September 2023.

We would also like to invite teachers, careers services, social workers, transition teams and anyone else who works with young people with EHCP’s in the district, so that they can find out more about Project Search and refer young people onto us.

What is Project SEARCH Bradford?

Project SEARCH is a pre-employment programme for young adults with a learning disability. Bradford College partners with DFN Project SEARCH offering supported internship programmes to young people with an Education Health Care Plan, aged between 18 and 24. The programme follows the school year and runs from September to July. Due to our partnerships with Bradford Teaching Hospitals, The District Care Trust, Bradford Council and Hft we are able to offer fully supported and meaningful work experience in an NHS or College setting. The goal of Project SEARCH is to support our interns to gain the skills to find paid employment.

Do you want to find out more?

For more information on how to apply, and an opportunity to discuss your young persons options with our team, please attend one of our open events. More details are on this leaflet. You can also make enquiries using the contact details below.
