Project SEARCH Recruitment for 2023-24 is now open

Recruitment for DFN Project SEARCH is now open for our Sept 2023 intake.

Project SEARCH is a year long supported internship programme which is suitable for young people with learning difficulties and/or autism. For more details plase see the main website https://www.dfnprojectsearch.org/ Applicants should be aged between 18 and 24 on the 1st September 2023. Due to funding restrictions we can only accept applications from people who hold a current EHCP.

Please use this application pack should you have any young people who would like to be considered. There is an email version and one that can be printed if they prefer to hand write, please contact us.

Application forms should be returned as soon as possible. The final deadline for applications is Friday 21st April. Recruitment events will be held in May.

We will be running at least 3 programmes with the capacity for 12 Interns on each. Project SEARCH Bradford is mainly based at the BRI and Project SEARCH Hockney is based at Bradford College, and Project SEARCH BDCT is based at Lynfield Mount Hospital) We also have another host business that may be starting in September.

  • On average 70% of our previous Interns found full time paid work after completing the programme.

The type of job rotations that we can offer will be dependent on the programme. See examples below:

  • Administration
  • Domestic services
  • ICT support
  • Security
  • Receipt and distribution
  • Library services
  • Pharmacy stores
  • Ward hospitality
  • Portering services
