Improving Children and Young People's Mental Health Inpatient settings

20 Jul 2021,

NHS England wants mental health inpatient units for children and young people to improve and become the best they can possibly be. They want to make sure that their inpatient services offer safe, high quality care which is useful, and given at the right time.

During 2021 Common Room will be reaching out to children and young people across England who have lived experience as service users of CAMHS inpatient units. We want to hear about issues related to being an inpatient so that NHSE can learn from first-hand experiences.

  • Are you 14-20 years?
  • Have you stayed in a mental health inpatient setting within the last two years? (e.g. CAMHS/ The Priory?)
  • Interested to find out more and get involved? Please contact us through this form.
  • All the young people who take part will be able to claim a payment as thanks for spending their time giving feedback.

If you are a professional e.g. participation lead, and can work with us to help young people have their say please contact Common Room
