Down Syndrome Act - Consultaion deadline approaches

14 Oct 2022,

The call for evidence continues and the deadline is 8th November. There are questionnaires on health, education and social care and links can be found below.

Your responses will go direct to the civil servants who will be writing the guidelines.

OTHER WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

On Monday 31st October, 10am to 12pm we will be holding a Zoom 'coffee morning' for our parents to meet online and talk about what's working, what isn't working and what needs to be done. Your input will be passed on directly.

Then on 1st Nov, 11am to 12pm there will be a face to face meeting in Leeds (venue to be confirmed) when we will be accompanying a number of young adults to meet some of the civil servants involved.

If you would like to be involved in any of these please contact Dr Wendy Uttley ( office@downsyndromebradford.co.uk )
