Check out our brand new accessible Local Offer website

Bradford's Special Educational Need & Disabilities (SEND) Local Offer (LO) Service listened to the valuable feedback gained from children and young people with SEND, their parent/carers and SEND services providers across the Bradford District.

Please bear with us until service login is available! We are working on this. Shortly all existing services published on the Local Offer website will be sent a welcome email with login details and be able to securely login in, so they can; update their own information, logos, photos, videos, documents and where they can be found in each main and sub-categories searches including filters. Provider sign up will also be available soon for new services to request to be published on the LO.

Valuable feedback was gained about the existing Bradford's Local Offer website's navigation and accessibility.

Key stakeholders found it difficult to find information they required without having access to category choices and filters to selection information they wanted to find; for example type of information, age, need, postcode, type of support, eligibility etc.

The Local Offer Officer used all key stakeholder feedback gained through the Local Offer, liaising with the councils IT/Commissioning team and awarded a contract for 2 years to a company called 6B Digital to build a brand new accessible Bradford Local Offer website. Key stakeholders have been involved in the co-production of the new website, right through to test live and any feedback was action accordingly.

New Bradford Local Offer Website

The Local Offer team is very proud of the brand new Bradford Local Offer accessible website, built by 6B Digital "an amazing bespoke digital company and very customer needs focused". The new website has been built by using the very valuable feedback gained from children and young people with SEND, their parent/carers and SEND services.

Pulling all the information together from the old Bradford Local Offer website, making categories, sub categories and filters has been very hard work for the Local Offer team, IT projects and 6B Digital but we wanted to ensure we got it right for families. The result of the new website is amazing and I look forward to our families being able to find, clear, easy, accessible information on the new site when needed!

Bradford's Local Offer will continue to develop and evolve using key stakeholder feedback. If you would like to have your say about Bradford's Local Offer Click here
