Airedale Paediatric Occupational Therapy team
What does it do?
The Paediatric Occupational Therapy team supports children with physical difficulties which affect their co-ordination and daily living skills. The team provides assessment advice and individual programmes of intervention for children and young people, advice for parents and carers as well as other professionals working with the child or young person.
Who is it for?
For children and young people up to age 18 (19 years in special school) who have difficulties with developmental and fine motor skills which impact on their functional daily living skills e.g washing, dressing
We don't provide stand alone Sensory assessments / profiles or Sensory Integration Therapy
Your doctor, paediatrician, special school staff or other health professional will refer you.
