Information, advice and support

Welcome to the services that provide Information, support, activities and advice in the Bradford Metropolitan District. Finding information on services, events, new resources and hearing and sharing parents, carers and young people’s experiences is vitally important. In Bradford district there are a number of sources of information and support services for families.

As well as the Local Offer website offering details of services, we have a handy pocket concertina booklet called "Local Offer pocket information booklet" containing information about what you can find out about on the Local Offer website and what to do if you do not have access to the internet. The Local Offer is used by children and young people birth to 25 years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their parent/carers. To order copies of the pocket booklets please contact the Families Information Service. The Local Offer has distributed and displayed leaflets, posters and pocket booklets across the Bradford district to promote the service. Further information about the distributions can be found within the Local Offer Annual Reports.
