What does it do?
Keighley People First bring people together to learn life skills, to speak up, to be heard, to change attitudes towards people with learning disabilities. They are a self-advocacy group, run by and for people with learning disabilities. They offer support, advice and opportunities across Bradford district, based in Keighley and extending across Craven. Work experience, Personal and Social Development, social nights, residential learning holidays, summer schemes, trips and annual events for young people are a few of our activities that promote healthy lifestyles, social skills, and empower people with learning disabilities to participate fully and make choices that affect their lives.
