Childcare

What does it do?

Families have to pay for childcare but may be entitled to financial support through tax credits or tax-free childcare to help meet the costs. All 3 and 4 years olds, and some 2 year olds (depending on income) are also entitled to 15 hours free early education. 3 year olds of working parents may also be entitled to an additional 15 hours free childcare. Types of childcare can include, childminders, day nurseries , pre-school / playgroups, out-of-school clubs and holiday play schemes.

View the Bradford Families Information Service website below to view a list of approved childcare providers or call using the details below. The government’s website Childcare Choices is also an excellent source of information regarding childcare options and help with the costs. :-https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/
