Supported Employment

Supported Employment

In the Bradford District information, advice and support about supported employment for people with disabilities and those with complex needs is available from JobCentre Plus via Remploy

Remploy Mission:

To transform society and the lives of disabled people by:

  • creating equality in employment

  • facilitating their access to sustainable employment and careers

  • enabling them to achieve their ambitions and maximise their potential.

Remploy exists to improve the lives of disabled people and those with complex needs through the power of work. We believe that everyone has something to offer. So we work to find their strengths. Once we know their skills, we match them to proper jobs with carefully chosen employers who help them achieve.

Remploy will help you find a Job click here All Remploy branches have vacancies from selected employers who welcome applications from disabled people or those with health conditions. It could be that you are returning to work after a period away from your career, or it could be your first job!  Our online advisors can also point you in the right direction to identify jobs in your area and make sure you are confident to apply.

Project Search

Supported Employment is also available through Project SEARCH which offers a unique opportunity for students with learning difficulties, aged 18 to 25, to develop skills for the work place and be supported in their search for employment.
